The name KAJUKENBO pays respect to the five arts that went into it's creation. KA (Korean Karate), JU (Ju-Jitsu & Judo), KEN (Wawaiian Kenpo) and BO (Chinese Boxing).

Kajukenbo originated from Hawaii. It was created during the years from 1947 - 1949 after WWII.
